CoinGecko estimated NFT market-cap order

The live-facing static pages do not calculate the earlier proposed composite score. Each chain’s positions one through ten mirror the CoinGecko chain table captured on 2026-09-04. CoinGecko describes NFT market cap as an estimate based on floor price multiplied by minted supply.

Observation date

All displayed market fields use the same source date to avoid mixed-time comparisons.

Chain rank and global rank

Chain rank is the collection’s position inside the relevant CoinGecko chain page. Global rank is the broader NFT rank published alongside the record. The two fields are displayed separately so a user does not mistake chain position for a universal score.

The cross-chain page defaults to global rank, while chain hubs preserve positions one through ten.

Market capitalization and floor

CoinGecko’s chain tables are ordered by estimated market capitalization. A floor-based estimate can move when the lowest covered listing changes, and it does not mean every token could be sold at that value.

Native SOL or ETH values remain next to the source USD reference. NFTLeaderboard.com does not recalculate conversion rates after the snapshot.

Volume, sales and percentage change

Twenty-four-hour volume, published sales and 24-hour, seven-day and 30-day floor changes are transcribed as displayed. Missing sales are represented by null in JSON and “Not published” in HTML.

The three change windows are not converted into a fabricated daily price history. Accessible charts use only real cross-sectional snapshot values.

Data completeness

Completeness is calculated across the eleven fields expected in the current ranking table. It describes this table’s extraction, not the total information available about a collection. A record with an unavailable sales count is therefore below 100 percent.

No hidden reweighting or fallback metric affects rank because rank comes directly from the provider order.

Images and attribution

The page uses CoinGecko-hosted collection thumbnails through an image service that requests JPEG output. The original source URL remains in data attributes and the collection page. Rights remain with the respective collection or image owner.

A branded local JPEG is an error fallback only and is visibly identified as non-official artwork when used.

Corrections and refreshes

A correction request should include the public collection name, chain, affected field, source URL and observation time. A future data refresh must update the values, snapshot timestamp, JSON, HTML, charts and build report together.

The source-dated package never labels itself as a real-time feed.

Future composite analytics

The original methodology contemplated volume, sales velocity, buyer activity, liquidity, floor momentum and ownership distribution. That model is not applied to this snapshot because CoinGecko’s displayed chain tables do not publish every required input. Applying it would require a separately licensed provider, reproducible normalization and visible missing-data rules.

Until those inputs are available, the source order is more honest than a synthetic score.
